Fitness StatementMy goal is to run 6 days each week with one day rest (core work). I try to run a different course with different shoes each morning with a different purpose in this sequence: rest, hard tempo, easy, hard intervals, easy, long, then medium long (on tired legs). Ultimate goal is to get under 3 hour marathon and break 40minutes in 10K.

Easy with 4x0.3mi with last few miles at marathon pace.

Taper for Hurricane Point in Big Sur. Left quad somewhat sore. Need some recovery.

Easy Taper for Big Sur.

Did a few hills then ended with 3x0.3mi with last mile at marathon pace (7:11).

Two part run:

1) 5.1 miles to SJ Fit - easy
2) 3.5 miles from SJ Fit in heat of day with hands full with two shirts, jacket, hat and long sleeve in heat - fast pace with last mile in 7:11's.

Soreness gone - felt good.

Stanford Dish Run -

Hills of 1145 gain.. pushed the uphills and downhills with fast 3/4 mile lap on track.

Legs felt good with heart rate in threshold - good run for Boston with rolling hills.

Taper....

run You are going to be ready for Boston. Good luck. One of the best races in the world.
